Four Habits of Highly Ineffective Leaders

Ineffective leadership do the following:

1 – Fail  to adapt to changing environments. They remain satisfied with current or past success. Success is fleeting; it comes and it goes. Sitting on success is a deterrent to development and growth.

2 – Rely on hope as a strategy. Hope is not a strategy. You must use your experience, skill and talent to lead. Take 100% responsibility for your attitude and activity level.

3 – Subscribe to the heroic leadership model – wait for direction from above. Do NOT wait to be validated. You do not need someone to tell you how good you are.

4 – Unwilling to change and manage expectations. The only person that likes change is a wet baby. You must embrace change. Change regularly and before it is necessary.
