Leaders Create Victors, NOT Victims

Leaders Create Victors, NOT Victims

“Do not be a little bitch.” – Grant Cardone

Effective leaders know that success requires assuming control for EVERYTHING that happens to you. Successful people take full accountability for the action that they take and do not take. They NEVER blame others or make excuses when bad things happen to them – play victim – even when it appears that they have no control over the situation. They know that it is difficult to take the right action and deliver results when they are busy pointing figures. Whenever you blame others or make excuses, you only prolong your time as a victim, not a victor.

ALWAYS assume control and claim responsibility for EVERYTHING that happens to you, even when it appears that you have no control over the situation. When you assume control and claim responsibility for everything, you empower yourself to improve the situation, find solutions and create success. Blaming others or making excuses does not change the situation. Waiting for someone else to solve the problem only puts your fate and ultimate success in their hands. Do not turn your success over to others, assume control and claim responsibility for yourself.

Question: “I am a good person, so why do bad things keep happening to me?” You attract the people and things that you pay the most attention to in life. Is it possible that you made a decision, consciously or subconsciously, where you created the situation? If yes, it is worth investigating it. When the universe keeps slapping you around, consider that you have something to do with what is happening or it would not have involved you. Good people generally have more to do with the bad things that happen to them than they take responsibility for.

Wherever you go, there you are. You are either the problem or the solution. Always focus on what you can do, not what you cannot do to gain better control of your life and mitigate bad things from happening. What can you do to reduce the chances of something bad happening again? Remember, nothing happens to you, it happens because of you. You do not always have control over what happens to you, but you always have control of how you respond to it. Choose to be a victor, NOT a victim. As sales expert Grant Cardone says, “Do not be a little bitch.”
