Welcome Customer Complaint and Problems

Great salespeople view all customer problems as opportunities and all opportunities as money. All customers need help in one of two areas: making more money or saving more money. If you focus on helping them solve problems in these areas, you will earn their business and trust.

Great salespeople also view existing customer complaints as opportunities. While satisfied and successful customers are the ultimate objective, things happen. Use complaints as another opportunity to engage with customers. If you can help them solve their problems, they will become even better customers.

After you have resolved the customer’s complaint or solved their problem, use the positive momentum that you have created to expand the conversation. Where else can you help them solve problems – that is, make more money or save more money? Customers are dynamic. There is always a new problem to help them solve.
