Social Selling with LinkedIn Skills

Using Skills on LinkedIn is effective for finding prospects. How? First, under Companies, enter a prospect e.g., HP. Second, click on Insights. On the right, review the list of Top Skills & Expertise at the company. Click the relevant skill for your target contact; e.g., Data Center. LinkedIn will then list Related Companies (e.g., Cisco) and key influencers for the subject. It will also list the top groups for people with the DC skill; e.g., DC Professionals. If you need help generating prospects, start at Skills and use the Related Companies and people in the top groups for ideas.
