Why 90% of Salespeople Never ...

“You cannot make the shot you never take.” – Wayne Gretzky

Ninety-percent of salespeople never ask for an order. Why? They fear rejection or do not understand the customer’s role and psychology in the buying process. Always ask for the order or ask the customer to commit to an action that will subsequently lead to an order. Remember, customer decision makers are busy. When they accept a conference call or meeting, it is a buy signal. They expect you to ask for the business. Not asking for the business leaves them both uncertain and uneasy. Always ask for the business. Do not let fear or relationships be an excuse.
