What You Believe, You Attract

Whatever continues to happen to you during the selling and closing process, remember, is not happening to you, it is happening because of you. If you continue to receive the same objections, it is because you either agree with them or your have a similar belief. Whatever you believe, you attract. Thus, review the objections, rejections and stalls that you continue to receive from prospects and determine which ones you agree with personally. If prospects continue to say your prices are too high, you believe your prices are too high. This objection is happening because of you (your belief).

Stop asking prospects to do what you do not or will not do. That is not selling; that is hypocrisy. Start doing what you are asking others to do and they will start doing what you ask because that is what you do. For example, if you are selling SaaS applications and cloud security is one of your talking points, if you do not participate in e-commerce or online banking, prospects will know. Prospects always know if you are asking them to do something, but you are doing something else. Prospects’ actions and beliefs reflect your actions and beliefs. Align the two to close more deals.
