Leaders Are Self-Aware

Leaders Are Self-Aware

Leaders always see themselves how people see them, not how they see themselves. They know that people actively hear what they say and watch what they do. To ensure that you do not overcompensate as a leader, ask yourself, “Am I working to accomplish the right thing for the right reason?” If so, self-awareness is about your approach. If no, re-visit your intent. Because people actively hear what you say and watch what you do, your audio must always match your video. If it does not, people will find you out and your influence will decrease.
