Using Mixed Media with Prospects

SDRs should use mixed media to gain attention and show prospects that they are a real person.

When doing sales development, because if it takes an average of six attempts (or more) to connect with and qualify a prospect, SDRs need to work to build a relationship with them via email and voicemail. According to InsideSales.com, the industry best practice is for each attempt to: 1) Call the prospect, 2) Leave a voicemail for them and 3) Wait 1-2 minutes before sending them an email. SDRs can also gain attention and show prospects that they are a real person with mixed media; e.g., pictures, videos, etc. It is always harder to ignore a real person.
