Hungry versus Passionate Salespeople

What is the difference between being hungry and being passionate in sales? Passionate salespeople love what they do and do what they love; e.g., selling technology. However, passionate salespeople are not necessarily hungry – they do not operate like their livelihood depends on each and every deal. In contrast, hungry salespeople refuse to lose. They find a way to win; they must win. The best salespeople are both hungry and passionate. Even if you work for a large company with a lot of resources like Microsoft, always work like winning every deal is a matter of survival.
